Contexte du recrutement et définition de poste

• The candidate will participate in the various stages of software development for complex business solutions
• The candidate will participate in the development of the solution (design, ideation, technological choices ...)
• The candidate will work in an Agile environment (SAFe methodology)
• Configure and enhance client business processes using IBM Maximo’s Platform Configuration tools
• The candidate will be responsible for the stability and performance of the application
• Identify gaps and improvements in the proposed design, and partner with Solution Consultants, and Project Managers to re-evaluate the design and project plan

Profil Recherché

• University or college degree in engineering, computer sciences, physic, mathematics or relevant experience in equivalent domain
• Great communication skills in English, French is an asset
• 8+ years experience in IBM Maximo implementations / upgrades / support projects
• Analyze customer’s challenges, and take a primary role in the design, development and implementation of comprehensive solutions that integrate smoothly into customer environments.
• Work with Product Owners & Business Analysts to understand the functional requirements, and provide optimal technical solution
• Troubleshoot process / functionality / system issues, and resolve
• Customize/Configure, test, and deploy IBM Maximo through all phases of the implementation life cycle
• Liaise with business users/client managers/ specialists to understand the requirements/problem statements.
• Hands on experience Administering, analyzing, and deploying applications in IBM WebSphere Application Server is added advantage.
• Must have knowledge and Experience with various web API's and the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
• Must have Java experience (Jython, Python, JavaScript languages is added advantage).
• Deep knowledge of Java programming and related technologies
• Exposure to Maximo ICD will be preferred
• Maximo and (or) WebSphere Certifications will be an added advantage
• Deep knowledge of Java programming and related technologies
• Experience in JSON, XML, XML parsers, and XSL
• Experience working with Oracle and SQL performance tuning is an added advantage

 

Nice to Have:

 

• Expertise with Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Sense of aesthetics and attention to detail
• Experience of working in Agile projects, prior SAFe /Scrum certification or knowledge.
• Experience in MAS 8 is added advantage
• Experience working with ETL processes & systems, and data management practices.
